Originally from Ireland, and with a direct ancestral link to the "little people"  the Irish Texan (although that was not his name when he embarked) set out on a journey around the world to discover his personal pot of gold. 

After exploring many lands with little success and in the process of working his way back to the home country he found himself making what was intended to be a brief stop over in Texas.

The people and lands of Texas turned out to be more enchanting than ever imagined and a intended stay of months grew into years.  Then just as thoughts of resuming the journey were starting to grow, and on a day it was never expected he discovered his pot of gold.  It was a pot so big and so beautiful it dwarfed even his wildest Imaginations. 

With the discovery of his pot of gold he decided to stay a little longer and since then has been happy to call Texas home.  A home that has been very generous to him and has granted him the pleasure of watching his pot of gold grow in stature and beauty  every day,
